I found this book listed on the web by a Cheltenham book dealer. It is a copy of the works of Shakespeare, bound in green with the school arms and motto printed on the cover. It was awarded in 1924, when L. E. Jones was in form 3B and the prizes were presented by Dean Inge.
Leslie Edwin Godfrey-Jones went to University College, London and achieved a B.Sc.(Lond.) 1st Class Hons, in Mathematics, and then an M.Sc (Lond), with a distinction, in 1932. He was a Strathcona Research Student at St. John's College, Cambridge, 1932-34. From 1934-44 he was an Assistant Master at Aldenham School in Elstree. He was Senior Maths Master at Rugby School until 1959, when he was appointed Headmaster of Marling School, Stroud. He died on 29/8/1998. (information provided by Molly Barton of Aldenham School)
