Drane, P (Peter Drane, DFC, bomber pilot. He was killed in the Second
World War on January 15th, 1945 on his 67th raid, and is buried in Pinner Road
cemetery.)

Empson, J D (VI Science in 1939/40, attending at Harrow
School. He gained his B.Sc.(Agric) at Reading University in 1947, and was
awarded a Scholarship by the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries for
Post-Graduate work at Lincoln College, Oxford. An agricultural Economist.)
Faram, G O 5A in 1938/39 (Geoffrey Faram, an accountant articled to the Borough
Treasurer of Wembley, was a Signal Instructor in the Royal Corps of Signals. He
was killed in the Second World War) Hazy as
to whether Faram was in my class ... so probably not. I gave it the benefit of
the doubt at first. Maybe .....

Alan Weir Struan Robertson was killed in the Second
World War. A founder member of the School's ATC, Flight Sergeant Robertson was a
radio navigator with the Pathfinder Group of Bomber Command. He failed to
return from a raid over Germany on March 23rd, 1944.)
