Mr. Alex Caprara
Mr. A. Caprara, whose work at this school began in September 1961, has now moved on to become the Senior Art Master at Eliots Green Grammar School. Quite apart from any personal regrets that we might feel at the loss of his company, it would be wrong not to pay some tribute to the inspiration which he gave to all kinds of creative and experimental work in the school, and through the Writers' and Artists' Club as well as to his quiet but efficient work with the Naval Section. We are most grateful, too, for the opportunity he gave us of seeing some of his wife's paintings, which have been gracing the Common Room for some time.
